Surgeons and Anaesthetists
Mr Zsolt Hegedus
Mr Hegedus has performed more than 1,500 operations in the last four years, mainly primary hip and knee replacements. He has also performed knee arthroscopies, carpal tunnel releases and foot osteotomies, as well as 300 other minor orthopaedic interventions. Between 2005 and 2007, he held the post of Clinical Lead of the Orthopaedic Team at the Greater Manchester Surgical Centre (NHS Treatment Centre), Manchester, where he represented and coordinated the work of the consultants.
Dr Attila Zoltan Juhasz
Dr Juhasz studied medicine at the Medical University of Debrecen, Hungary, and obtained his MD in 1993. After graduation he worked at the University Clinic of Otolaryngology in Debrecen for 12 years. He qualified as an ENT surgeon in 1997 in Budapest, Hungary. In 2001, he obtained his PhD in Medical Sciences in the field of head and neck cancer research. From 2005, he started to work at the Greater Manchester Surgical Centre (NHS Treatment Centre) as a Consultant ENT Surgeon. He is a member of The British Association of Otorhinolaryngologists — Head and Neck Surgeons.
Management and Administration
Mr Adeniyi obtained his first degree in medicine (MBBS) at the UCH, Nigeria in 1989. His postgraduate basic surgical training was at the Middlesex/UCH London rotation, in the UK. Mr Adeniyi subsequently trained in urology, and developed a sub-specialty interest in male health and sexual dysfunction. During his training, Mr Adeniyi has authored and co-authored various publications, and presented at various national and international medical conferences. He is currently involved in raising public awareness on male health issues by giving talks to both medical and allied medical practitioners and the general public.
Mr Csaba Marafko
Mr Marafko has been practicing Orthopaedic surgery for more than 20 years, and specialises in hip and knee joint replacement, arthroscopy, foot/hand surgery and sports injuries.
He graduated from Semmelweis University in Hungary in 1988, where he qualified in Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine. He then underwent specialist training in Paediatric Orthopaedics, Manual Therapy, Shock Wave Therapy and Acupuncture.
Following this, he completed a postgraduate MSc in Sports Injury at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) in 2010.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), and has participated in many courses all over the world as well as presenting his published research work at a number of national and international meetings.
